hi all,
perhaps this is the proper place i shoudl ask this:
i already do email with "sendmail" but obviously there are more powerful
ones. i was hoping that people here might have an overwhelmingly positive
view of one or two. my needs are mostly simple. being able to read, and
forward most types of emails, even those with attachments.
i ask this now, before i get to heavy into one, because since i am new to
perl, i jumped into Date::Manip, which i found out later was sort of
lumbersome, especially for the minimal date tasks i was doing.
thanks ahead

Please put the subject of your post in the Subject of your post!
The word 'Question' contains no useful information - if you'd put a
question in the subject line the fact that it was a question would be
implicit.
The word 'Module' is implied as part of the subject of all posts by the
virtue of the fact that this is a newsgroup about modules.
Your subject line contains absolutely no information. Actually that's
not true, it carries information about the lack of effort you are ready
to put into constructing your posts so serves purely to predispose
people not to want to go out of their way to help you.
Pointers to more detailed guidance on composing subject lines can be
found in the posting guidelines. You really should read the guidelines.
They really are there to help you doing things that will be perceived
as being rude.

The MIME::* modules are what most people use.

Unless, of course, you'd rather _avoid_ doing things that will be
perceived as being rude - in which case they can help with that too. :-)
