I have been reporting this problem for over 4 months in the Charleston, SC
DTV listings. To temporarily fix the problem exit out of MCE. Then you need
to edit the atscchannels.xml file in the C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application Data\Microsoft\eHome\EPG\prefs directory. Most likely the
physical channel is wrong. Once you edit the file, make a backup copy since
it will be overwritten on the next EPG download. However MCE does not appear
to use the xml file directly so to force it to read the new xml file, Restart
MCE and got to settings/TV/Guide/Add Missing Channel/Add DTV Channel. Add
any digital channel that does NOT exist so you don't get any conflict
messages. Select Done, then go back in and delete the channels you just
added. Exit out of MCE and the restart MCE. You should be good until the
next EPG update.
I created a batch file to fix the xml file, but I still must do the add and
delete channel thing in MCE.
