Interesting! I'm experiencing a very similar problem.
But my "unexposed" includes both files and folders with "sound" in
their name....and it happens computer wide, including all 6 hard
drives...
Some drives are NTFS, some are FAT32 (DualBoot 98se and XPsp1)
Likewise, I can access and manipulate those very files and folders
from anywhere else on the network, but on the resident machine those
files and folders are hidden and cannot be found with any search
function....
