Not as an Extender. What you can do is share the Recorded TV folder on the
Vista PC, and then acess that network share via your XP laptop and play the
Recorded TV shows in Windows Media Player. You will need a compatible DVD
Decoder installed on your laptop to play back the DVR-MS files.
You can also look in to programs like Orb (www.orb.com) and others that will
automatically convert and stream the Recorded TV over your network, or even
the internet.
