Problem solved. After several days searching through the Internet and installing
drivers to no effect etc.,I came across a post that mentioned System Restore
points and how to use them. I've now restored my system back to the last restore
point before I started installing the PVR packages. The process took about
5 minutes and now Windows Media Center is working fine again. I'm surprised
no-one was able to tell me this? Oh well, something to keep in mind when others
have similar problems.
Cheers,
