Hi All,
I am no longer able to access the AOL Video using Media Center 2005. I
receive the following bad URL message: Unable to connect to
http://fugumce.stream.aol.com/mce_vod/index.html .

I believe this link is now bogus. How do I update the Media Center to
connect to the proper link. My system is Win XP, SP3. I have downloaded and
applied all the current Media Center patches, including roll out 2.

Thanks,
--

I fear that these options have been removed permanently. I used to love
searching the multitude of artists, and video available, Now, all that
remain is a few tabs of Genera, and the artists I have never heard of, that
are being "showcased" (or pushed down our throats). I guess this all came
about when AOL and MS began their hissy fit spat over content, and who can
provide what. I guess we will never get back to the true integration of the
AOL on line content, to work with the Media Center. DRM rears it's ugly head
again, amd those of us who bought these Media touted system, will walk around
a cripple, with our legs cut off. All I ever wanted was a rich environment,
to import a variety of on-line content into. Now it's evolved into nothing
more that a broken jukebox, with only 12 tunes on tap, which no one wants to
hear. Such a shame, and the wonks wonder why the average user doesn't
believe any of the promises made by these greasey, geeky money grubbers. Now
you see it, and whoops, now we take it away, and give you nothing in return.
Oh well, read your EULA, "we the screwer, you be the screwee" MSFT you broke
my heart, and I will NEVER invest in any of your Opiated Pipe dreams again.
I'm moving to OSX, where believe it or not, they do not change their business
model, or loyalty to their customers, 3 times every year. So Long, it's been
HELL to know you.

Dragon, and may you loose a Google (Gogol) of business bucks.
