MSN.COM KEEPS POPPING UP S Green 10-03-2007

I'm running Windows XP & IE7.
I updated to IE7 about two weeks ago (if this has anything to do with it?).
Everything was running well until today. I always sign in thru the MSN
explorer "log-in" screen and check my e-mail. I will leave the e-mail screen
up and then open some other programs that will cover the e-mail screen (MSN
is still running in the background).
Anywhere from 5 seconds to about three minutes later the MSN screen pops up
ontop of the other programs all on its own. Whatever the last screen I was in
(in MSN) is what will pop up. I have tried to minimize MSN but it still pops
up. I have spent 3 hours on the phone with Verizon/MSN tech support and still
having the problem. Some say it may be a IE7 problem, some a computer
"browser" problem. There must be an easy solution to this besides just
closing MSN each time. Please help, I'm going crazzzzzy!

No I haven't had any response to my problem and no solutions. Everyone is
blaming everyone else for the problem. Good luck finding help and if you do
find someone that fixes it would you please let me know. Thanks
