MSN Desktop Search not finding IMAP email reesd 06-06-2006

 MSN Desktop Search doesn't seem to be finding emails in my IMAP folders. It
finds all other email ok. I have the IMAP folders selected in the Indexing
options. I also have the relevant folders set to "download complete item
including attachments".

Any suggestions?

Outlook 2003 (non-Exchange, POP and IMAP accounts)
Windows XP MCE

Silly question, but are you leaving Outlook open while it's indexing?
Outlook has to remain open or it can't see your IMAP folders (a very
unfortunate limitation).

Silly questions are fine (you never no), but yes I am leaving Outlook open.
As I mentioned, all my other Outlook email (in my main PST) is being indexed
fine.

Well, I just installed the Enterprise Windows Desktop Search client after
uninstalling the MSN Toolbar one, and it has successfully indexed all of my
IMAP accounts. I'm also using Outlook 2003. Perhaps try an
uninstall/reinstall?
