My phone keeps telling me "Memory is Low". All apps, photos, sounds, etc are
stored on the SD Card. What can I do to stop this error message?

Thanks,
Bernie

The message is usually sent to indicate that your free RAM is low (not
storage space). Unfortunately, Windows Mobile is pretty resource hungry
(compared ot say Symbian) and will eat up quite a lot of RAM.
Essentially, to avoid the error message you should close down (or
hybernate: http://www.oxios.com/hibernate/) as many non-essential apps
as possible. If you are not sure how to view/close down running
processes I recomend SP Task Manager (download the evaluation version
which comes with all the features) :

http://www.smartphone.net/software_detail.asp?id=90

Other than this, I really dont think much can be done (I don't believe
you can expand your RAM). Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Faust.

Last time it happened this morning, I looked and the only apps running were
Start and Battery Pack Pro, which is what was showing me the apps running. I
don't think I can run any less and still be running, hahahaha. It's a
MPx220. Is anyone else having this problem?

I don't have this problem and I have a few apps running on my MPx220.

Have you installed all apps on your external memory card as well? I don't
have anything installed on the Phone.

Yes, all apps on on the external card. The message is a bit random. Its a
nice polite female voice, but still it sounds important, hahahaha.

I wonder if the amount of tasks, contacts, and appointments affects this.
