usually 3G phones are saying "put USIM card or no way we can work
together"... where USIM is special SIM card for UMTS - it looks the same as
GSM SIM card.
of course probably there are some 3G phones that accept both but
unfortunately Arne Hess and Dale Coffing who have these devices are not
betraying it..

no, but with software from 3rd party developers it will be solvable easily
(to get it you will have to press ctrl-N or something)
