One of my 3 home network XP Home computers died. I replaced it with a new
MCE computer. I have a shared printer on one of the XP Home computers. I am
on a Belkin router using RoadRunner High Speed.

The new MCE is connected to the internet. The router sees the new computer
and DHCP gives it an IP. I can see an icon for the new computer in Computer
Places on the old computer...however....

I cannot access the shared drive, nor can I map to the shared printer.

I've changed the network name on all units...same problem.

How can I share the new computer on my home network and vice versa? Network
wizard won't do it.

Check the Workgroup name by right-clicking My Computer, selecting Properties
and then going to the Computer Name tab. You'll see the Workgroup: listed
just below midway down. Also, check your network connections area to make
sure Client for Microsoft Networks and File and Printer Sharing for
Microsoft Networks are both installed.
