Hi, I have MCE 2005 (clear instal - no Rollup 2) and instal Service Pack 3
(from Windows Update) Now I check updates, but Windows Update no show to
install Rollup 2, and any typical updates for MCE 2005. Why ???? This is
strange...
Now I instal MCE 2005+ Rollup 2+ Service Pack 3 from Windows Update, and I
check missing updates, but still not show typical updates for MCE 2005.
(Windows Update show only updates four Windows XP).

Why???? Any suggestion ?

I would suggest removing SP3 to get the rollups. I had the same problem with
none of the updates showing up after installing SP3. I was building a new
system so I just wiped it and started over and chose not to install SP3 and
instead there is an option to show updates and the MCE 2005 updates were
there then.

Is it possible (likely?) that SP3 already contains all of the "typical
updates" for MCE2005? So, after you install SP3, it correctly figure out you
don't need any of those updates?

The following fix list includes only the updates that were added in
Windows XP SP3.
