My iPAQ 2210 PPC appears to be working OK itself. But today with it in
its cradle and connected and synced via AS, when I use Explore instead
of seeing my PPC structure I get a heading 'C:\ - Microsoft Internet
Explorer' (note that '-' prefix) and the actual contents are the
entire C: drive of my PC, nothing to do with IE.

Also, under My Computer, I can no longer find my Mobile Device.

I rebooted the PC and soft reset the PPC with no success. Then I tried
to repair AS via Add/Remove > AS > Change I got the error message:
"Internal Error 2356. ActiveSync.cab" and the installation terminated.
So now at a loss what to do. Any help much appreciated please.

Eventually uninstalled and re-installed AS from scratch and now OK.

Still no idea what can have caused the issue.
