I have read quite a few mails here on how Active Synch suddently stops
working properly.

I have the same problem.

It doesn't matter if I connect via USB or Blue Tooth, the problem is the
same.
I am running AS ver. 3.8 and it has worked find for a month.

I synch with my office computer and I synch with my home computer. I synch
to an exchange server.

Yesterday my synch stopped working at home. When I connect my PDA it
connects and AS is "looking for changes" after about 30 seconds, AS drops
the connection and nothing more happens.

I can connect as "Guest" without problems.

I have tried all the proposed solutions here short of a hard reset.

With the numerous posts here about the problem it sounds like it is not an
isolated problem.

I would really appreciate to hear if anybody has managed to solve this
problem.

Cheers,

Carsten

Hi,
Have you looked at uninstalling any add-on applications to see if they are
causing the problem?

I finally gave up and did a hard reset of my PDA. That seems to have solved
the problem.
