 Yes this is silly, but I have a Cingular 2125 and I would love to find a way
to lock the keys on it.

When the device sits for 5 mins the keys lock which is great, but is there a
way to force the keys to lock without the wait?

I am having issues with it dialing numbers when I put it in my pocket or
into the case.

I am not sure if it will be any help but on the Orange SPV C550, which I
believe is the previous model to yours, the keys can be locked by holding
down the red Call End button on the home screen.

I was getting ready to start looking at the .NET Compact Framework to find a
way to do it. This is a much simpler solution, thanks a bunch.

You don't need to do that...I did that before ;-)
As you seem to be using the device lock only for locking the keypad,
have a look here:

I know this was not the original question, but thanks for the shortcut
on the C550! Had it for 6 months and it was really beginning to bug me
as to how to lock the phone expect by power button and selecting Key Lock.

Any other gems or where can I find them?
