Generally, no. There are a few exceptions (VERY few, I'd guess less
than 5% of laptops), and even for the exceptions, you are limited to
usually only two choices (the "upgradable" video cards in the exceptions
are model-specific proprietary cards made by the laptop mfgr).
There are also a very few "add on" video cards (USB or PC Card or
ExpressCard). Performance of these tends to be poor.
