Keep "Windows Desktop Results" from fading in? Mesan 03-21-2007

Is there some registry hack or _something_ that I can set to keep the
"Windows Desktop Results" from fading in when I click inside the
"Search Desktop" box? I could probably turn off the menu fading in
the Performance Options of System Properties, but I don't want to keep
all my applications from fading, just the WDS one.

I'd sure love to find that registry key "DontFadeWDSResults" and set
it to 0 -- does it exist???

Thanks,

Mesan
