Hi, I had received a request to provide R+E and Write access to a folder.
When the user tried to save the files, they kept generating 0 byte files (ie
the files were created without data). After a bit of investigation I saw
that this folder was a junction point. I proceeded to remove the ACL and
re-apply it to the originating folder, and the issue still persists. I
cannot give Modify rights to the folder (which I am sure would solve the
issue). Does anyone know of any gotchas related to Junction Points and ACLs
or can point me to a good document that describes how to setup security.
Thanks.
