Hi,

Has anyone written any programs for the Smartphone (T-Mobile SDA) that
will take pictures with the phone's camera and email or upload them?

It would be cool to be able to put the phone some place and take a
picture every X seconds and upload it to a web site or send it to an
email address.

I looked at the Smartphone SDK/API on MSDN and it looks fairly simple
to do this. I'm just not interested in giving Microsoft hundreds of
dollars for the development suite.

THANKS!

John

You should be able to do that without adding any software. Numerous moblog
sites allow emailing a JPG (or other binary) attachment in an email message.
I've been using MSN Spaces to do this myself recently. Of course, sending a
relatively large photo file every few seconds will probably drain your
battery and maybe strain even an "unlimited" T-Mobile GPRS data account.

I know I can take a picture manually. I was looking for some software
that would automatically take a picture every X number of seconds and
send it out (SMTP, FTP, etc.).
