I have a lot of .txt files that I am adding to our new content
managment system. I am trying to copy and paste the stuff from a
notepad document into the system. It would be cool if I could keep the
notepad open on top of the browser and copy/paste from there. I use
the tab key to flip between documents and when my monitor (i work in
different labs some still have old crt monitors) is large enough I put
them up side by side. I was just wondering if it could be done.

I don't think you can make the notepad document window on top. But you can
Tile the windows.

Right Click the task bar, choose either Tile Windows Vertically or Tile
Windows Horizontally.
To go back to normal behavior, right click task bar, Cascade Windows.

Tiling the Windows will display all open windows either side by side or one
above each other. The more windows you have open the smaller each window is.

A little tip here:

If you have more than 2 windows open but just want to tile 2 of them,
click the first one's icon on the Taskbar and then Ctrl-right-click the
other's icon. You will then be able to choose Tiled (or 'Side-by-side'
for Vista) for just those 2 windows.

HTH. :)

There is a free text/HTML editor called NetPadd. It can be found here.
The documentation states that a recent edition to the Options was "Always On
Top". However, the released build does not have this option. However, all
the source code is included in the download, so if you have Visual Basic 6
installed, or know someone who does, all you need to do is re-compile/build
the project and the resulting EXE will have the option included and enabled.
