Hello group,

before I spend a lot of time moving in the wrong direction, I would
like to ask you if it is
possible to use a custom perl binary inside a prebuilt apache/mod_perl
environment.

I work in an environment where apache/mod_perl is set up and running
(the one that comes
with Oracle 9) but my little website behind it is using a Perl binary
that I built myself because
I needed some specific modules that the Oracle Perl installation
doesn't have. I am running
CGI but would like to move to mod_perl for speed. Is it possible to
use the apache/mod_perl
that comes with Oracle or am I better off building my own one?

cheers,

-klaus
