 I have a media center remote and i also have media center 05.......Im
wondering if there is a driver that would allow me to use the media
center remote on a standard XP Pro Install? I have the XP Pro machine
running through my tv and house stereo and would very much like to use
the remote any help would be greatly appreciated!

 The driver for the remote is not the problem, the problem is if the
applications you would like to use can make use of the remote. If they
recognize the commands then there should be no problem.

The driver for the MCE remote is included in XP service pack 2. If it
is not installing, then I can only suggest a reinstall os SP2.

Once SP2 is applied, plug in the remote dongle to any USB port and it
will be auto detected and installed.
