Wonder if a product listed as
"Kingston DDR 512MB PC2700, Powerbook G4 12''15''17, IMAC G4 Flat"
would work with my PC laptop (Averatec 3200 series)?

If your machine works with PC2700 it'll be happy. Check the Kingston
WWWebsite to be sure about all the details, but AFAICT PC2700 is
PC2700...
