Hi,

I apologize if this is the wrong newsgroup for this.

I'm new to pocket pc's scanners etc. I have an Ipaq hx2400 and a
socket in hand scanner plugged into it. The scanner works, however the
only way I can get it to work is to tap on start and then tap on the
socket application; I don't think our users will like this :-). We also
have a dell axim here that will use the same scanner card but it can be
activated by hitting the button with the email icon.

I'd like to activate the scanner with one of the buttons on the Ipaq.
It has fewer buttons on the dell but it does have an email button. I
was hoping there was some way I could configure the Ipaq to use a
button.

Any help would be appreciated.

Neil
