Please log in for more thread options I don't use Norton, but that file is most likely related to some Symantec
product. Is anything listed in the startup programs that looks like it might
be this program? You should have some items in there for the background
virus scanning, but maybe that is some additional program running that isn't
needed.
You could try uninstalling it, to verify that is the origin of the error.
Then, you might then be able to reinstall and have it work correctly without
the error.
You also might try going to http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/ and see
if they have anything posted about that error (and hopefully a fix).
