Is it possible to block even the viewing of UNC network paths through the
Enhanced Security Configuration? I know you can keep users from running
certain content, but will it block the user from exploring these paths
altogether?

Not that I know of. You probably would beed to disable the workstation
service but that is a necessary service on domain computers. What may help
if you have Windows 2003 servers is to use Access Based Enumeration so that
users will not see folders/files within shares that do not have read
permissions to. Of course users must not have permissions to network
resources that you do not want them to have access to. --- Steve
