I have two internal networks connected using an internal router. The
networks are 10.10.0.0/16 and 10.20.0.0/16.
I have a Win2003 domain using an ISA 2006 as a firewall. I have been using
the internal net 10.10.0.0/16 for most of my network without a problem. I
recently added the 10.20.0.0/16 net.
I added the 10.20.0.0/16 net to the internal network on the ISA server.
Problem- workstations on the new 10.20.0.0/16 net cannot connect to the
Internet. They can connect to the servers and workstations on the
10.10.0./16 net but the ISA server is denying connections to the external
network.
When I look at the ISA log the ISA server is denying connections to the
Internet for workstations on the 10.20.0.0/16 internal network and is not
listing a firewall rule for the denial.
What is the problem and what can I do about it?
