My wife's computer has XP Professional but it is giving her headaches, so we
were going to try and install Media Edition instead. When I rebooted after
putting in the Media Edition CD, reformatting was not available to get rid of
Professional, therefore, we couldn't install Media Edition. Does anyone know
if I am doing something wrong or not following the proper directions to
reformat? Please help me! Thank you in advance.

If you're having problems with Pro, installing MCE won't help. Its built on
XP Professional with the Media Center bits added on.

You're better off posting what your problems are to a Windows XP newsgroup
and trying to resolve them from there.
