I'm using a HTC Meteor running WM5. I copied the computer certificate to my
phone in a folder named "Storage". now I'm trying to install the certificate
with SPaddCert.exe but the device displays the following alert:
"Error adding certificate. The phone May be locked."
Any idea?

Some phones are locked against software installation by the carriers. This
is the meaning of the message.

However, this is not necessarily the case. Maybe the SP_Addcert.exe you have
is not fit to your phone... have you tried just clicking on the certificate?
Please try.

Hi

Sorry to butt in, but I have the same problem with an Orange SPV C600.

I have tried just running the certificate - does not work

Using SpAddCert.exe I get the same message - "The phone may be blocked". Is
it a simple job to get the phone "Un-blocked"?
