One confuser here is that the Treo is a PocketPC and the OP's device is
a Smartphone... both of which run WM5, but each has very different os'
version primarily because of the very different input options, stylus vs
phone keypad, so, most ppc applications don't have versions that can run
on the smartphone including the pocket office apps such as word and excel.

For the Treo, a much better place to get help and support is
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.pocketpc for general
questions and
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.pocketpc.phone_edition for
issues directly related to the phone operations.
