I have a WinTV150 MCE kit (turner, remote, ir receiver/blaster).

I have configured MCE and everything works (launches MCE, can change
channels) but MCE won't turn on my STB (Bell ExpressVu3100).

I know it can because I have had it working before my re installation of
Vista.

Any ideas/suggestions are welcome.

Most STBs have a power button and not separate on and off buttons so when
pressed or activated with a remote the status is only changed off>on or
on>off. These STBs have to always remain turned on since MC does not
activate the power button code.

Tnx for the feedback. i was almost positive I had MCE configured to to turn
on (power up) my STB before.

Maybe just wishful thinking.
