Which one of these would you prefer and why? (IPAQ 6915 or HTC TyTn?) For
me being able to run my Windows Mobile GPS Software is a major priority...
Thoughts? Any ideas if and when the new HTC Omni will be released and a
possible price?

TyTn without a doubt, smaller (although thicker), much, much more usable
keyboard! Doesn't have GPS built-in I think but the new TyTn 2 does have
(approx £390+VAT).

TyTN, no doubt at all. But you can also look for the new HTC Kaiser.

Hey,

I dunno about the HTC but I got the 6915 used for 150;- and it runs TomTom
and Google maps GPS systems just fine; (especially the TomTom is nice when I
set it to alert for all traffic cameras and such en route) ... it's pretty
good and fast for that, no need for separate GPS dongles either...I use it
mostly for that and also to replace all my schedule books and calendars,
syncing with outlook over bluetooth. I also use it as a phone but I must say
it is's a very good for telephone use, cuts off mysteriously when trying to
answer etc...I don't use the keyboard much anyway, Resco Keys and the pen
are much better for emails etc. I use Gmail via its mobile outlook and
that's good too. Needs a quick memory card as well; the camera is sooo slow
when saving to it. Also have used it for Skype within WLAN radius, but for
the most part I subscribed to a 320mb/s 'fixed' gprs/edge data access
service that's 10e / month no usage limits. Also use it as a modem for my
laptop via USB cable when traveling.

All in all I guess I use it much more than I've even realized...it's my
modem, phone, calendar, schedule book, communicator, Skype and email client,
GPS navigator and I also use a lot of internet based services like phone
number searches etc. on it...damn if I ever lose it I gotta buy another one
ASAP :-) But it's not a very good cellular phone.

How the heck did you find a 6915 for $150?
