First, check the mic hole (bottom left edge) and make sure you didn't
get something like peanutbutter stuck in it (seriously ;-)
I would then see if the headset makes a difference
If not, I don't have good news... the same happened to my first pda2k
and it was not addressable by hard resets nor updating the rom... less
than a month out of the 1 year warranty and IMate looked at it and
quoted $675 for repair.
Curious.... did you install any bluetooth device just before this happened?
