My last Win Mobile question of the day is, is there a good IM for Win
Mobile 5 such as Trillian, that connects to multi IM providers such as
AIM, MSN, etc? An open source .NET one would be the best but I'll take
what I can get.
Thanks...

Hello,
Yes, Shape Services makes an all-in-one type messaging application. You can
try it at http://store.clintonfitch.com/product.asp?id=248
I've not used it personally so I strongly recommend trying it before buying.
Regards,

Please log in for more thread options There are tons of different IM products for Windows Mobile. Unfortunately,
none of them comes close to Trillian; still, they're pretty useful.
See the IM Bible (
http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=1725&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 ;
note that there is a separate Smartphone version at
http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=2075&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 )
for more info and a complete tutorial / explanation. You WILL want to spend
some time on comparing these products because there's no "best" of them -
all of them have strengths and weaknesses.

Agreed. In addition, it lets you use Skype (for voice as well) and a
SIP VoIP provider all from one app.
