Please log in for more thread options Hi Stephen,
I tried your "repair" trick, Control Panel, Add/Remove Windows Components,
with only Internet Explorer selected but I saw no "repair" option. In any
case whatever happened (it appeared to reinstall it) I still have the problem.
Just so that you're clear. The list of results appears as they do say in
Google. I then click a hyperlink and it opens one of the result's websites.
When I click on a hyperlink on the page I get the gong, even when I press box
to close that page.
Because of the other problem I posted where I can't find a known Thunderbird
email (when I first installed the MS Desktop Search it did find my test TB
email) it's almost to the point where I have to try making Firefox or Avant
my default browser or go back to Google's Desktop Search. Too bad because I
loved MS DTS.
Thanks,
Kerry
