 Trying to configure the connections on my new Audiovox 6700 with Windows
Mobile 5. The device connects to my home Wi-Fi, yet it tries to dial the
phone for internet access.

How can I configure the phone to use the Wi-Fi to access the internet
instead of making a phone call?

 Do you need to set up a proxy connection on the phone, using your home PC to
provide the internet connection?

Good question. I haven't set up a proxy connection on the phone. Since the
phone is connected to my WiFi as a DHCP client, it shouldn't need a proxy.

Also, do you know of a detailed reference on Windows Mobile 5 and ActiveSync
4.0? There is hardly anything in Microsoft TechNet. The only site I found
is below and that is pretty basic.
