 Hi all!

We've been using Mapx ( An active control ) to add GIS feature to our
program in the last 6 months. But Mapx is too expensive for us, 2000 $
for a license.

So I was considering if we could use some open source GIS application
instead of mapx. What would you recommend?

OGR/GDAL library's to build and compile your own.

Lots of stuff out there.
