It won't. You have to move your Contacts into a different folder (like=

"Desktop Contacts") and then put your "Pocket Contacts" in the main
"Contacts" folder. =20

Hi Pepe,

Unfortunately, you cannot sync or specify a sub folder in Outlook that
ActiveSync must sync with since it will always sync the main "Contacts"
folder. Here are some options which will enable you to get your sub folder
contacts on the device -

* Pocket On Schedule - http://www.odysseyinc.com/
* Pocket Mirror - http://www.chapura.com/pmp_wm.php

* Microsoft Outlook free add-in Outlook PCS (has a few limitations) -

Just curious, how do you know which folder, such as contacts or tasks are
the "main" folders. For example, lets say you deleted the original contacts
folder and then created a new one, or lets say that you have several task
folders? how does active sync differentiate? Is there a way to specify
which is "main"?

Hi,

By "main" I am referring to the default folders that Microsoft Outlook
creates when you create a profile within it. These default Contact,
Calendar, Tasks folders cannot be deleted.

You can only delete folders which are created by you since Microsoft Outlook
allows you to create new folders of the same information type under them.
Example: subfolder of Contact types which will store only Contacts data. So
you can delete these folders but not the default one.
