I think you have answered your own question. You have "limited your series
recording to about 2 episodes." Yet the series recording is still enabled and
MCE tries to record it but can not and you get the error message. I don't
think there is a way to disable the error messages in MCE, but if you have a
lot of hard drive space, why limit each series recording?
