Hi,

The new Activesync 4.5 doesn't seem to support the "Manually" sync
'schedule'.

Does anyone know how to get it back?

I ask because each time I receive an email in outlook, activesync kicks in
and locks up my smartphone for 1-3 minutes while it does a sync operation.

Because of this, in my previous version of AS, I setup "Manual" sync, so it
would only hog up my phone right before I was ready to leave my office.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help me get back the
"Manual" sync schedule :)

BTW, I tried to temporarily add a "secure server" to AS, and the "Manual"
sync came back, but it seems like it would only for that server and NOT my
desktop PC :(

-John

Maybe it's because of the cab file you created to make vibrate permanent.

It caused your post to appear 3 times. ;-)

Nah,

That was because I responded to three conversations in two different
threads.

Hi,

coincidentally, I just posted a tip about that on my blog. By default
AS will sync every minute or so, especially when you make changes on
the device itself or your PC. Check out the last post on my blog. It's
about a a free utility called AS Toggle.

I actually tried that app last night and it doesn't seem to be compatible
with activesync 4.5 because after I disabled AS using this app, then
reenabled it, when I docked next, my device said "you need to install
activesync 4.5 on your PC to sync with this device...".

So, I uninstalled that toggle app faster then you can say "uninstall"
because the last thing I need is for activesync to get screwed up by this
app and waste a day getting it working again.
