Hello,

I recently switched over from Lookout 1.2 to MSN Search (latest version).
Everything went fine so far, it seems my mails got indexed (Outlook
2003/Exchange 2003). But when trying to search in the mails with the from: or
to: operators, I can't find anything. I try for example:

from:Mattews SRM

Any ideas?

Just tried, but doesn't seem to work: When I just type "Matthews" MSN Search
gives me a bunch of results. When I try * from:"Matthews" with or without
the asterix it don't gives me any results.

I believe this did work in the MSN Search Beta, it seems it's broken in the
final version...

Hi,

Do you find "Matthews" in "To:" line of your email? If just list email id
then it will not be able to find the email. In that case you will have to
search using email id.

Thanks, -Manish [MSFT]

Yes - Searching in the "To:" Field brings up results - it lists of course
only mails that have Mattews in the "To:" Field.

Does this mean it's not possible to search for mails within the "From:"
field? How do I list all mails, that I've received from a certain person to a
certain topic?

cheers,
-bc
