First, back up and post as much information as you can on what
programs/process created these and how they were generated and/or how
you found and copied them.

Propritary database formats are a pain without some info to go on and
then you will need a converter or application to open them.

Is there a possibility that this is the compact access database file
that stores the contacts data on a ppc?

Thanks Beverly - IT was nice to talk with you. I solved the problem: I
connected a broken PPC to the desktop, I downloaded the dotPocket app
(it let me use the ppc from the desktop), then I copied the txt
dabatabases into the ppc, reboot it and then sync the ppc with the
desktop using ActiveSync and Outlook.

Are you working at Microsoft? In development issues, pls if youy
wouldn't response here, send me an email, I'm a director of an IT
company and I'm always looking to establich relationships with
IT-related people.

Thanks again

Erwin
