Conceptually it's easy to do. Just create your own
geo-referenced "map" that covers just your property,
at the scale you want. I've done that using OziExplorer
by simply using a blank bitmap image.
Of course with the accuracy of consumer-grade GPS receivers
it may be a pointless exercise ;-)
