 As mentioned in title, how to disable ActiveSync from autorun on a PC?
even I kill the process, and remove the autorun entry from registry. once I
turn it on, it will autorun when I restart my computer.

anyone helps?

 no good answer for wm5, esp if you run wmediaplayer, but

http://BevHoward.com/ASync.htm#WCESCOMM is a homebrew and there is a
third party app (KillSync) that can be placed in your startup folder.

What I did to disable ActiveSync was to go into connection settings and
uncheck the "Allow USB connections". I needed to do this to use my PPC-6700
as a modem. Hope this helps.
