Hi all!

I've searched by google on this topic but there seems to be no simple
tools to do so.

Could anybody help me on this topic?

There's a utility called shpproj which can do this. shpproj is part of
shapelib.

Thanks!

And I just found that MapInfo could do that too. Save the tab file in
Long/Lati format, and use Universal Transport tools to convert it.

The converted shp file is just what I want!

But be careful. shpproj does not do datum conversions properly. As long
as you are always keeping both source and destination projections in the
same datum it's fine, but never use shpproj if your two projections are
in different datums. If you try to do so it'll look like it's worked, but
it will be wrong.

Another tool that does the trick is the "ogr2ogr" program from GDAL.
(http://gdal.maptools.org/) It can do the conversions and do datum
shifts, too. I strongly recommend this tool over the shapelib tools.
