How to Dismiss Reminders? JXM (John Murray) 11-22-2006

Greetings friends:

I'm preparing a short help guide for our team users of the Verizon XV6700.

We're having a particular problem with the Calendar Reminder function. There
appears to be no easy way to Dismiss a Reminder if you miss the initial
message display, which only stays on-screen for about 10 seconds. After that
time, the alarm continues to sound even if the user changes the Remind Me option
in the Calendar. The only way we've found to deal with it is to silence the
sound function for the PocketPC, which isn't really a useful solution.

Both the User Guide and the on-line help seem to be silent on this issue.

Any thoughts or suggestions you have would be much appreciated.

Thanx!

John Murray
SRI Intl.

I had the same problem. I just used Memmaid by Dinarsoft and went to
the notifications que. There were 10 entries with no name but had a
bunch of number and letters in {}. They were all EXACTLY the same, so
I deleted them and did a soft reset. That did the trick!
