While I've done this in the past, I can't remember how. I would like to
change the name of the folder in My Documents (that has been named by Active
Sync) that syncronies Files with my PPC and still have Active Sync recognize
it. For example the folder created in My Documents by Active Sync is
"WM_JOHN_DOE My Documents" and I want to change the name to "PPC MyDocs" and
have Active sync recognize it as it's sync folder (or without Active Sync
loosing it).

Hi Steve,

Change the Device Name (Start-> Settings-> System -> About -> Device ID) and
then perform a sync. You cannot have spaces in the partnership name, so its
best you simply name it to "PPC" and your sync folder will be automatically
updated as "PPC My Documents".

Thanks for your response but it didn't change the name of the folder in My
Docs where my Files are stored although it did change the device name on
Active Sync.
I'm wondering if I changed the name after a hard reset and before syncing
with my PC. Any ideas?

Thanks, Steve
