How do I modify/delete start icons? LelandHoover 09-16-2007

Please log in for more thread options
 I want to move unused icons in the start menu to an unused icons folder. My
Samsung Blackjack with the AT&T wireless update has protected the files in
\windows\start menu folder so I cannot move or delete them. Help!

Have you tried a soft reset before attempting to move those icons?

I soft reset the device and the icons are still protected and cannot be moved.

Can you provide an example of a file you're trying to delete.

Have you tried using your File Explorer to get to \Windows\Start
Menu\Programs\ and there try to delete the files?
