Hi

How can I stop search engine spiders if I dont own
an entire domain?

I understand that "robots.txt" only works if it is located in the
*root* directory of a domain.

Is there any way to exclude files (or ideally whole directories) from
search engine spiders... if I only own a directory off a domain?
