I find the playlist feature EXTREMELY annoying. Nearly everyone with music
has it sorted by folders/artist/genre and I'd like to simply play one folder
or another without having to go in and create a playlist for it every time.

I have several hundreds of folders from music I've ripped and transferred to
my media center and I don't want to create a playlist for each one, one by
one. Can anyone help me with this please? It's driving me batty!

Thanks much.

Media Center gets it's media library information from Windows Media
Player. That suggests that you have to manage the library first. You have
to tell where your music is located. But to do this you again need
WMP.And you have to use 'Add to library'feature.

I'm a bit confused then. I have added all my media to WMP, enabled sharing,
and set My Music as a watched folder.

However, I didn't see any option to sort music by folder. Is this something
I'm overlooking? (quite possible...)

Thanks much! :)
